How long does it take to process an order?

Please allow approximately 1-2 business days (Monday - Friday) for your order to be processed for shipping. Our order volume typically increases when we have sales or specials, and around holidays. During these times, fulfillment can be closer to 3-5 business days. Keep in mind that we are humans working with human hands! We will always do our best to process orders as quickly as possible, in the most efficient way possible.

 

How long will it take for my package to arrive once shipped?

We almost always ship via USPS Priority Shipping. These shipping times are faster than the standard, first-class mail option, but they will still always vary depending on your location and distance from us. If you live near us in California, it will arrive faster than if you live on the east coast. The USPS site quotes, but does not guarantee, 1-4 day shipping times for domestic delivery.



My package arrived with damaged or broken product - what do I do?

We hate to receive pictures of packages that look as though they have been run over by a truck, but unfortunately it does happen. USPS isn’t perfect, and we have NO control over what happens to your package once it leaves our hands. Before contacting us, please examine your product to check whether the products themselves are damaged. If so, send us an email right away to hello@organicbodyessentials.com. Include pictures when possible, and please don’t delay on letting us know! We kindly ask that you contact us within 1 week of receiving your package. We will promptly pack a new replacement order for any damaged product and ship to you as soon as possible.

 

Do you ship internationally? 

Unfortunately, we do not offer international shipping at this time, but we hope to have this option in the future. If you happen to have a contact or address in the United States, we could ship to them, and they could then ship our product to you.

How do I use a discount code?

If you have a discount code, you can enter it at the payment check-out page. Please note that our already discounted products (such as the 'packages') as well as SUBSCRIPTION ITEMS are NOT eligible for further discount, which is why your code will not work on those products.

"I’m very sensitive to any smells or fragrances. Do you have any products that would work for me?"

All of our products contain Certified Organic essential oils except for the UNSCENTED Extreme Hand & Body Creamand the UNSCENTED Organic Lip Balm. Every product is completely free of anything artificial (such as artificial fragrance), but the majority of our products do use essential oils for both “scent” and beneficial properties. Please always review the ingredients list for each product in the product's description or label image.

 

EXPIRATION

"My product seems to have expired - am I reading it wrong?"

The products you receive right now show the date of manufacture. We are still transitioning our labels to be more clear about each product's expiration date, so we do apologize for any confusion.

Generally, all of our products have a shelf life of about 1 ½ to 2 years. However, once you open a product (just like food), you need to begin to use it. Our products are COMPLETELY FREE from preservatives, stabilizers, or chemical concoctions that are so often used to keep things shelf-stable. For this reason, they should be stored at or below room temperature: below 72°F, but not below 40°F. If temperatures regularly exceed these conditions, it is best to store these products in your refrigerator (especially the creams). If you are ordering extra products that will not be used right away or may be kept for future use, storing them in the refrigerator is strongly advised for prolonged shelf life.



Radical Repair Cream

"My product is very gritty. After I massage it in for a few minutes, it will dissolve. I was just wondering about the texture. Is this normal?"

The Radical Repair Cream contains shea butter and coconut oil, both of which harden when cold. If you notice these hardened particles, nothing is wrong with your cream, and you will see that they dissolve when you begin to rub it in. If you prefer, you can rub it together in your hands before applying elsewhere. It is normal to find hardened particles of both of these ingredients in the cream if your product is stored in cold temperatures. 

 

Creams 

Is there a difference in the Face Cream compared to the Hand & Body Creams? Can I use the hand creams on my face?

Yes, you can use hand creams on your face as well.  The difference between the face cream and hand creams is in the oils that we use.  There are significantly more (beneficial) oils chosen for the face cream vs. the hand cream. 

 

 

CBD FAQs


There are countless variables such as weight, diet, metabolism, genetics, environment, and more that make a universally prescribed dosage for cannabinoids an impossibility.

How much to take all depends on your reasons for use or for any potential condition you’re hoping to treat, but dosage generally runs anywhere between 2.5 mg to 30 mg, once or twice per day, according to most professional recommendations.

It’s best to start with a small dose so you can see how your body reacts, and then you can try slowly increasing your dosage. Most people who are new to cannabidiol begin their journey by starting with the minimal suggested CBD dosage on any product (which for our tinctures is about 1/4 dropper full), then gradually increasing the dose until they achieve the desired results.

Some analysis research suggests increasing the amount of CBD you take every 3-4 weeks by around 25mg until you attain symptom relief (inversely, decrease by about 25mg if symptoms worsen). Additionally, you might find it useful to record your daily experiences in a notebook so you can accurately narrow in on what works and feels best for you.

Because there is no official or medical recommended dose, the information presented here is intended to serve only as an informative guide or a starting point of reference and should never be considered medical advice. When it comes to cannabinoids, there is one universal truth to keep in mind: EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT.

 

Will this show up on a drug test?

In short – It’s very unlikely… but it’s possible. All of our products EXCEPT the HEMP HONEY STICKS are considered ‘full-spectrum CBD’ products. Full-spectrum CBD products contain all of the compounds that occur naturally in the plant they were extracted from. In other words, full-spectrum products include CBD alongside terpenes, flavonoids, and other cannabinoids (such as trace amounts of THC).

Routine drug tests don’t screen for CBD. Instead, they typically detect THC or one of its metabolites. Full-spectrum hemp-derived CBD products are legally required to contain less than 0.3% THC content. All of our products meet or exceed this legal requirement, meaning that there is less than 0.3% THC content in our tinctures, gel capsules, and gummies, etc.

If enough THC is present, it will show up on a drug test. This means that in rare cases, using full-spectrum CBD could result in a positive drug test. It all depends on the testing method’s cut-off values and detection windows for THC or one of it’s main metabolites, THC-COOH.

According to Mayo Clinic Proceedings from 2017, federal workplace drug testing cut-off values were established to avoid the possibility that trace amounts of THC or THC-COOH would trigger a positive test. In other words, passing a drug test doesn’t mean that there isn’t any THC or THC-COOH present in your system. Instead, a negative drug test indicates that the amount of THC or THC-COOH is below the cut-off value.

The bottom line –  CBD shouldn’t show up on a routine drug test. However, using full-spectrum CBD products (containing trace amounts of THC) in large or consistent quantities may, in rare cases, result in a positive result on a sensitive drug test. All of the products on this site are full-spectrum, EXCEPT for the Hemp Honey Sticks and the Elite Elixir (which does not contain any CBD).

 

Are there any side effects or interactions with medications?

While CBD is generally considered safe, some people who take CBD may experience some side effects such as: diarrhea, fatigue, changes in appetite, and/or changes in weight.

CBD may also interact with other medications or dietary supplements you’re taking. Exercise particular caution if you take medications, such as blood thinners, that come with a “grapefruit warning.” CBD and grapefruit both interact with enzymes that are important to drug metabolism.

 

EXTREME TERPENES TINCTURES

How do I use the Extreme Terpenes?

It is best to use the dropper and place the amount you desire under your tongue and let it absorb for at least 60 seconds before swallowing. It is a personal choice on when to take it and whether it is before or after a meal. If you do not prefer the taste, we recommend following with water or juice. The Extreme Terpenes can also be applied topically – use as desired.

 

What's the difference between the three Extreme Terpenes Tinctures? ('Anytime' vs. 'PM'?)

The different strengths represent the concentration of CBD that’s in the bottle. The rest of the ingredients are the same. A full dropper (1 ‘suggested serving’) of the 1,000 MG Anytime provides approximately 33 MG of CBD, and a full dropper of the 1,500 Anytime provides approximately 50 MG of CBD.

The “Anytime” formulas are created to be used for anything you're addressing, at any time of day or night. The “PM” formula is intended for nighttime use due to its inclusion of a rare cannabinoid (CBN) which studies have found to be especially helpful in addressing issues with sleep as well as with pain. All of the tinctures can be used internally & externally, with the ‘PM’ formula being the strongest option for topical use.

 

This depends upon how much you choose to use. The 30 ml bottle has approximately 30 x 1 ml full dropper servings. For example, if you choose to use ½ dropperful serving, the bottle will provide approximately 60 servings.

 

It is very normal for CBD oil to vary in color, even with the same formulation and strength. Our full-spectrum oils typically range from golden to dark brown (each with a hint of green). The color can largely vary on the crop, similar to how sometimes a red apple is redder than another from the same tree, or from the next tree.

Each new batch that we formulate is lab tested to ensure quality control and product strength, so you can rest assured that the product you received is safe and effective to use.

Industrial hemp crops grow rapidly and are harvested regularly. Each crop produces a slightly different harvest. Even though a plant is of the same species, each plant has its own characteristics. Some crops produce a harvest that will taste more “green” than another crop.

Yes, as long as you follow the recommended total amount combined to give your pet based upon their weight.

 

Yes, as long as you follow the recommended amount for the weight of your cat. We have found it is easiest to cut the tablet first into the desired amount and then crush it with the back of a spoon into a powder that can be mixed with wet cat food.
